Who are you? Are you yourself? Do you like who you are? This question of “Who are you?” is such a simple, yet strong question many people only ask themselves. Our generation has a lot of soul searching to accomplish, so I took to the streets and campuses, to ask college students who they are. The only rule was to not use your name to describe yourself. This video is the answers.
To acknowledge that everyone is different is to see that we are the same. Many people answered with their ethnicity while others answered how they want to be in the future. Many stared directly into the camera while others looked back and forth searching for the answer deep inside their brain. The main similarity between all these answers was that everyone had one. Rarely do you ever get asked such a heavy question and for people to be put on the spot and recorded for the world to see is such a pure and heavy moment. I hope one of these people in the video can relate to you in some way. Whether it’s the lighthearted answers or the existential message someone is purveying; I hope you can relate to one another in your own way. We are the same, yet completely different.
